This promotional products company has been in business for over half a century and currently operates out of facilities both in and outside of the USA. The company’s products are designed to help business both with branding and customer loyalty. The business expanded its services outside of the USA several years ago and currently provides its promotional products to numerous sports leagues and renowned corporate customers.
The Customer’s production facilities are based outside of the USA. They were previously sending mailings themselves using USPS International Surface Air Lift (ISAL) service, and as a result were preparing and transporting the mailings themselves to present to the U.S. Postal Service. There were numerous obstacles with this approach, including no electronic manifest, leading to issues with mailings being rejected and returned, ultimately resulting in additional costs and delays.
Asendia USA proposed that the Customer provide us with all of their ISAL Mailings separated by country with our indicia pre-printed on each piece. Asendia USA then verifies each mailing, provides final preparation, utilizes the USPS’ electronic manifesting, and transport and enters all mailings at the International Service Center.
