Asendia UK has officially been recognised as a Great Place to Work®.
We’re proud to share that Asendia UK has officially been recognised as a Great Place to Work®, a reflection of our commitment to building a workplace culture that supports, values, and uplifts every member of our team.
This achievement is more than just a milestone. It shows how seriously we take our responsibility to create a positive employee experience – and it directly supports one of our core values: striving for excellence. Gaining this certification was never about ticking a box; it was about challenging ourselves to listen, improve and be the best we can be – for our people, our customers, and our future.
This recognition follows our recent employee engagement survey, where we achieved an 82% completion rate. The strong response rate demonstrates the level of trust and engagement our people feel, and we couldn’t be prouder of that.
The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Asendia UK. The survey, which is conducted anonymously, invites employees to share how they really feel about working at the company, covering everything from leadership and communication to wellbeing, recognition, and professional growth. It’s a powerful way for us to listen, reflect, and keep evolving, together.
What We Learned
Our Great Place to Work® survey results gave us a valuable snapshot of what we’re doing well, and what matters most to our people.
- Celebrating milestones matters: 86% of employees said that people celebrate special events at Asendia UK. This tells us that recognising moments, big and small, makes a real difference to how connected people feel.
- Clear communication is a strength: 81% agreed that management sets clear expectations and has a clear view of where the organisation is going. That level of alignment helps build trust and confidence across the business.
- Our benefits are valued: 70% of employees said we offer special and unique benefits. While there’s always more we can do, it’s encouraging to know that our approach is being noticed.
These results help reinforce what we already believe, that when we focus on clarity, recognition and care for our people, we create an environment where people feel they can do their best work.
Where We’ll Focus Next
While we’re proud of what we’ve achieved, the survey also highlights where we have work to do. Listening to this feedback is essential if we want to keep improving and truly live our values.
- Perceptions of fairness around pay: Around half of respondents feel they are paid fairly for the work they do. This is an area we’re committed to understanding more deeply, so we can address concerns and increase transparency.
- Job security and communication around change: we could do more to build confidence in how we communicate during times of uncertainty.
- Belonging and hiring: While 73% agree that we hire people who fit in well here, we recognise the importance of building inclusive teams while still making space for diversity in thought, background, and experience.
These results are not setbacks, they’re opportunities. We’ll use them to guide meaningful conversations across the leadership teams and our UK Culture Champions to inform and draft our action plans, and keep moving forward together.
These insights are invaluable, and we’re grateful to every colleague who took the time to share their voice.
What’s Next?
Achieving Great Place to Work® certification isn’t the finish line – it’s the starting point for even greater progress. We’re already putting plans in motion to build on what’s working and tackle the areas that matter most to our people.
In the months ahead, we’ll be running a series of workshops to shape a clear action plan. Our goal isn’t just to maintain this certification – it’s to go further and do better, together.
Because creating a great workplace isn’t about perks or slogans. It’s about trust. Transparency. Respect. And above all, listening.
Thank you to everyone at Asendia UK for your feedback, your openness, and your belief in the culture we’re building. Your voice is what drives us forward.
Your Voice. Our Future. #OneTeam
