It's been a busy time at Asendia UK. Since the start of 2020, we've had to promptly adapt and respond to the daily challenges faced by the logistics industry as a result of the global pandemic. From managing peak level volumes while keeping our operational teams safe, to enabling remote working for our office-based staff, some seismic shifts have taken place behind the scenes to ensure that we continue to serve the needs of our customers successfully.

Throughout the UK, many businesses were forced to cease or limit operations as a result of the crisis. Courier and logistics companies like ours, however, have had to ramp up services to ensure not only the timely delivery of commercial goods, but also safety essentials such as PPE, life-critical medication, food, and many other necessities.

As part of an initiative to shed light on the enormous national effort to keep the country running throughout the health crisis, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and ITN Productions Industry News have co-produced a special report series titled '#HiddenHeroes'. Asendia UK is thrilled to be featured in this series, and we're excited to showcase the achievements of our excellent team at this unique moment in history. We're thankful for the opportunity and incredibly proud of our employees who have gone above and beyond to ensure that things continue to run smoothly.

To see how we kept our people motivated and applied innovative methods to remain flexible and service-driven, watch the #HiddenHeroes segment on Asendia UK in the above video.
