E-Commerce Sustainability

Asendia UK is proud to have been awarded a Silver EcoVadis Medal for the third year running, recognising our ongoing commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices.

Our 2025 score of 73 places us among the top 15% of companies assessed globally by EcoVadis, and within the top 8% in our industry sector. This builds on steady progress year on year, with scores of 59 in 2023 and 68 in 2024, a clear reflection of the continuous improvements being made across our business.

What EcoVadis measures

EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted sustainability rating platforms, evaluating more than 125,000 companies worldwide. Each organisation is assessed across four key themes:

  • Environment
  • Labour and human rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable procurement

A Silver Medal rating demonstrates advanced performance across these areas, highlighting strong governance, policies, and action on sustainability.

A collective effort

This achievement reflects the work of teams across Asendia UK who are embedding sustainability into daily operations, from environmental initiatives and ethical practices to more responsible procurement decisions. It also reflects the positive culture we’ve built as a certified Great Place to Work, where people feel engaged, valued and proud to contribute to our sustainability journey.

Our focus now is on building on this progress. Throughout 2026, we’ll be driving local initiatives and departmental action plans designed to move us closer to our ambition of Gold Medal status!

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re committed to going further.
