Switzerland ranks high in all of the main e-commerce indices, including the Logistical Performance Index, the Ease of Doing Business Index and the E-Government Development Index. Internet inclusivity is also a very strong point for Switzerland, as is internet penetration.

Additionally, the GDP continues to increase with a steady growth rate; the economy is certainly boosting the e-commerce sector, both domestically as well as cross-border.

 

E-commerce Landscape

Most Swiss consumers prefer to receive their purchase at home. Swiss consumers also like collecting purchases from the post office, while the most popular payment method is paying by invoice.
