UK Services

Air, Road and Rail

Some mail due for delivery in the Orkney Islands on Friday and Saturday is likely to have arrived later than scheduled. This is due to a technical issue developed with the aircraft flying from Inverness-Kirkwall (Orkney Islands) on Friday and Saturday morning.

Some mail posted in parts of London and the South East to parts of the North of England may arrive later than planned. This is due to the late departure of a vehicle from London’s Princess Royal Distribution Centre to Warrington Rail Terminal.

Some mail posted in parts of the UK for delivery in the GU, KT, SW and TW postcode areas may arrive later than expected. This is due to the late arrival of a vehicle into the Jubilee Mail Centre on Friday night, meaning not all inbound mail could be processed to schedule.

Some mail posted in the E, IG and RM postcode areas for delivery in parts of the UK on Saturday may have been delayed. This is due to a technical issue at the Romford Mail Centre on Friday night, meaning not all outbound mail could be processed to schedule.

The rest of the UK network operated well over the weekend.
