UK Services

Air, Road and Rail

Some mail due for delivery in the BD, HD, HG, HX, LS, WF and YO postcode areas may arrive later than planned. This is due to capacity issues at the North West Distribution Centre on Saturday, which meant that not all mail could travel on the scheduled service to Leeds Mail Centre.

On Monday 17th October, there is a parade in Manchester city where there will be many roads closed and large crowds. Access restrictions may affect some deliveries slightly, adjusting to the conditions on the day. A number of posting boxes within the area will be cleared and sealed out of use on Sunday 16th October, and will reopen for normal use on Tuesday 18th October. Collections throughout the city will also be maintained as normally as possible, with some difficulty in the M2 and M3 post code areas, depending on access.

Normal deliveries and collections of mail should be made in all other parts of the UK today.
