After the heavy rainfall in July all mail operations are now back to normal.
Brazil: Update 10th August
There may be possible delays in the delivery of mail items sent to Rio de Janeiro from 19th July to 20th September due to the transportation logistics changes in the city owing to the hosting of the Olympic Games in Brazil. Brazil Post is working to minimise possible impacts; however this may affect delivery times.
Australia: Update 9th August
There was a one day strike by staff of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection who are responsible for customs clearance in all inbound offices of exchange on Friday 12th August. This caused delays to all inbound mail on 12th August as well as further delays following the strike until the backlog is cleared.
