Service Update Bulletin 14th September 2015

International Services

Good service in operation.

Services to France

Expect a two days delay for some mail from the Ile de France to the departments 03, 07, 15, 21, 25, 26, 38, 39, 43, 63, 70, 71 and 74. This is due to a technical problem on the Senart / St Priest link.

UK Services

Air, Road and Rail

There may have been a delay in some mail posted in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas on Friday for delivery on Saturday in parts of South West England, Midlands, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This is due to road works causing heavy traffic delays on the M6 where a vehicle needed to be diverted to the North Western Distribution Centre, which resulted in the mail missing the scheduled flight.

Mail posted in parts of the UK on Friday for delivery in the BH and DT postcode areas on Saturday may have been delayed due to a vehicle arriving late at the National Distribution Centre on Friday night.

Mail posted in parts of the UK on Saturday for delivery today in parts of South West of England may arrive later than expected. This is due to a vehicle arriving late at the South Western Distribution Centre on Saturday night.

A small amount of mail posted in parts of the UK for delivery in the DD, EH, FK, KY, PH and TD postcode areas may arrive later than planned. This is due to high volumes of mail arriving at Edinburgh Mail Centre therefore not all mail could be processed to schedule.

The rest of the UK network operated well over the weekend.
