Istanbul: Update 11th July
Following the terror attack on 28th June there have been enquiries about the status of the upcoming Congress in Turkey. The International Bureau (IB) has been liaising with the United Nations and Turkish authorities to further assess the situation in Istanbul. These consultations are still ongoing and a full report on the security situation is expected soon.
Poland: Update 11th July
There are delays expected for up to three days for deliveries in Warsaw. This is due to the road restrictions for the NATO Summit which ran from 7th July to 10th July.
Morocco: Update 6th July
There was a national holiday on Friday 8th July therefore the Eid-al-Fitr holiday ran from 6th to 8th July. During this time postal operations and requests for information will be affected.
China: Update 6th July
Due to severe floods in Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang (postcodes in the following ranges: 430000–443000, 410011–427000, 230000–247000, 210000–226000, 310000–325800) the collection and delivery of all mail products has been affected.
Indonesia: Update 2nd July
From 2nd to 10th July Indonesia Post were not operating due the customs clearance process. All items received during this time were processed on 11th July. Therefore delays are expected in the processing and delivery of mail and parcel shipments.
Brazil: Update 3rd July
The delivery of postal mail was experiencing delays due to the customs control in Brazil.
Portugal: Update 3rd July
From July 1st to 3rd there was a three day strike in Portugal which impacted the processing times of inbound, outbound and transit mail.
