Service Update Bulletin 11th January

International Services

Brazil: Update 11th January

Brazil Post is facing intermittent network connection problems in its operational area at the airmail facility BRGRU (BRSAOA – GRU). This is causing issues when bags arrive at the BRGRU some of them may not be registered in the IPS system. However, the opening of bags at the BRGRU, and the scanning of items at the office of exchange, is proceeding as usual.

Australia: Update 11th January

Since Wednesday 6th January, due to extreme flooding in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, there has been a prevention of the collection and delivery of mail to the area. The waters have now receded, the evacuation orders for the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region of New South Wales have been lifted, and postal operations are back to normal.

There will be a 24 hour strike in some Greece regional airports affecting domestic flights and transportation. All international flights to and from Greece were not affected.

Norway: Update 7th January

On 7th January Posten Norge AS were unable to send EDI messages, but the problem was resolved and all missing EDI were transmitted by the end of the day.
