Update: 4th August 2015

Australia Post informs that, thanks to measures put in place by the exchange offices and customs management, the impact of the strike by Australia Border Force customs officials was minimized, and all inbound priority pre-LAT items were processed on time. Australia Post thanks designated operators for their understanding and cooperation.


Update: 5th August 2015

Hellenic Post ELTA (GR) announced a 4 hour stoppage from work of air controllers, which may have had minor effect on some services.


Update: 6th August 2015

Due to a bomb alert, the Office of Exchange in Frankfurt was evacuated. The access to the OE was blocked, therefore trucks could not enter or leave the premises, leading to a slight delay in processing and handling. Deutsche Post would like to inform that operation is now back to normal.

UK Services 

Air, Road and Rail

On Friday 7th August there were issues with overhead lines which affected the outward and return rail services between Newcastle and London. This may have resulted in a small delay of mail in the below areas:

• Posted in parts of the far North of England for delivery in London and South East England

• Posted in parts of London and the South East of England for delivery in the far North of England

The rest of the UK network operated well over the weekend.
