Service Update Bulletin August 4th 2014

We are committed to keeping you informed weekly about current and upcoming worldwide events that may affect our postal services.

International Services

Israel: An alternative route into Tel Aviv has been found for all mail going in and out of Israel. However, minor delays may still occur due to the ongoing political unrest in the area.

Iran: Following an embargo from the start of July where all mail to Iran had been delayed, we can confirm that any backlog was cleared on 28th July. Normal service has now resumed.

Libya: As a result of the current events in Libya, the country's international airports and exchange offices have been closed. This situation has led to the suspension of processing incoming and outgoing mail.

United Arab Emirates: The holiday of Eid Al-Fitr took place from 27th-31st July in the United Arab Emirates. This may have resulted in delays to both inbound and outbound mail services in the area.
