Our Management

The Asendia Management Board brings together many years of experience in the international shipping and global mail sector, combining expertise and visionary thinking to build the business into one of the leading solution providers in the market.

Our goal is to be the leading global provider of business-to-consumer solutions for mail and have built a management team with the expertise to deliver on this ambition.

Asendia's global management board has a wealth of senior industry experience at an international level. They set the global strategy for Asendia, and work with the management boards within each local Asendia business unit across 15 countries.

Marc Pontet | Chief Executive Officer

Marc Pontet, joined Group La Poste in 1991.

After graduating from the Institute of Political Studies of Bordeaux, Marc Pontet held various positions within the Group Headquarters, in the Finance and Strategy Departments and in the International Mail Division.

These leading and strategic management positions included Head of Marketing & Sales of the Mail Division before joining Asendia.

If Marc is not in the office planning and creating the future of Asendia he likes travelling, reading and listening to music or simply staying with family and friends.

Imke Boer | Head of Continental Europe

Imke Boer, joined Swiss Post International in 2001.

After graduating in Business Engineering, Imke Boer wanted to see more of the world and in eighteen months she travelled through Alaska, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Thailand.

Back in The Netherlands she joined TNT International Mail as an Account Executive in 1998, became Commercial Manager and a year later Commercial & Finance Manager. At Swiss Post International Netherlands Imke Boer made the switch to Finance Director and from 2007 she took charge of the entire company as General Manager.

She likes to spend her free time pursuing outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.

Michael J. Hastings | CEO Asendia USA

Michael J. Hastings, in 1987 was cofounder of Brokers Worldwide, now part of Group La Poste.

In 1975, Michael J. Hastings started his professional career as in the Logistics Management and Shipping industry at FedEx in Philadelphia, PA. He was one of the founding members of Brokers Worldwide in 1987 which grew to one of the largest international mail and parcel distribution companies in the United States.

Michael J. Hastings received his degree in communications from Montgomery College Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining Asendia he was CEO of Brokers Worldwide a US subsidiary of Group La Poste.

Out of office Michael J. Hastings enjoys reading, playing golf and spending time with his family.

Matthieu Martin | Chief Finance Officer

Matthieu Martin, joined Swiss Post Solutions in 2001.

After graduating with a Master of Business Administration, Finance and Management, Matthieu Martin started out as a Controller at Swiss Post Solutions in 2001, worked then as a Chief Financial Officer in France, abroad in the USA, in Vietnam and in Paris, gaining experience in subsidiaries and in head office, taking care of process optimization across borders, providing leadership to his decentralized teams for IFRS and local GAAP consolidations, leading integrations and mergers and developing reporting structures.

In his free time, Matthieu likes outdoors activities such as fly fishing and spend time with his family.

Renaud Marlière | Chief Marketing & Sales Officer

Renaud Marlière, joined Group La Poste in 2003.

Renaud Marlière started his career in 1994 as account manager for a French fulfilment company (Formule 5). This first experience was the starting point of an 18 year career in the direct mail and small parcel business in companies such as Royal Mail and Spring France. In 2003 he joined Group La Poste and took on new responsibilities as Head of Sales and Distribution for La Poste Global Mail in 2010.

Renaud Marlière has a Master in Business Administration and in Direct Marketing.

In the coming months, he will be attempting to beat his personal best for the marathon.

André Maurer | Deputy-CEO, Chief Operations & IT Officer

André Maurer, joined Swiss Post in 1986.

André Maurer joined Swiss Post in 1986. After a few years working for post offices in Zürich and Geneva in 1990 he started working for the Mail Sorting Centre in Zurich. In 1994 he took over responsibility for the International Exchange Office of Zurich 1 and started his career in the international mail business. In 2000 he joined Swiss Post International and following several management jobs in IT & Logistics he was promoted to Member of the Management Board of Swiss Post International, in charge of Global Operations & Network Management.

André Maurer studied Logistics Management at the University Of St. Gallen (HSG) and graduated with Executive Diploma HSG and with the European Master Logistician Level (EMLog) from the European Logistics Association. He lectures in logistics education programs at GS1 Switzerland and acts as an expert for logistics exams.

Out of the office he likes to travel and enjoys Geocaching.

Sabine Graf | Chief Human Resources and Communication Officer

Sabine Graf, joined Swiss Post International in 2006.

After completing her Master’s degree at the University of Neuchâtel, Sabine Graf started working in management and sales at the Berlitz School of Languages. She quickly focused on international topics, first as a Human Resources Manager at Ericsson AG (Berne), then at American Express (UK) and as a Senior Consultant at Saville Holdsworth Limited (Zurich), where she was responsible for implementing global HR processes.

After joining Swiss Post in 2006, she managed Human Resources projects in Switzerland and abroad.

In 2010, she completed her MBA in international Management.

Having worked for a year as a dive master in Egypt, she still likes to spend time under water.

Lionel Berthe | Chief Strategy & E-Commerce Officer, Head of Asia

Lionel Berthe joined the Group La Poste in 1995 after graduating in finance and law, from the Institute of Political Studies and a joint master from HEC business school and Paris University.

Lionel has held various positions inside the La Poste group, starting in HR department at headquarter level, then moving to different roles in the international activities of the group. First in the international mail businesses, at headquarter level, as business development manager for North America, and then head of strategy and M&A, an then moving into a newly created subsidiary, La Poste UK limited, as the first CEO of the company. Returning from the UK, Lionel then took a position in the French B2C parcel division of La Poste, Coliposte, as international operations director, a position he occupied for six years before joining Asendia in August 2012.

Out of office, Lionel enjoys reading history books and spending time with his family with 6 children, playing football with friends and mountain biking.

Alexis Antoszkiewicz | Deputy-CEO, Head of Asendia France

Alexis Antoszkiewicz joined the Group La Poste in 1995 after graduating from EDHEC business school and a first two years experience with French Railways Ltd in London (UK).

Alexis held various positions inside the Mail Division of La Poste, on headquarters and operational levels, both in the domestic and international mail environments. He successively was head of operations of STP, La Poste subsidiary dedicated to the press business, and head of strategy and international relations of the International Mail division. Before joining back the international Mail in 2011 to take over the responsibility of the future Asendia France, his current position inside La Poste, Alexis spent four years managing two Mail industrial platforms in the North of France.

Out of office, Alexis enjoys reading history books and spending time with the family, especially with his son sharing with him their common passion of football. .

Marina Bartetzko | Deputy-CEO, Head of Asendia Switzerland & Asendia Press

Marina Bartetzko-Meyer, joined Swiss Post International in 1995.

After completing her school leaving exams, Marina Bartetzko-Meyer worked as a publicity assistant in the field of Advertising and Media. She acquired her marketing competence working as a product manager with Henniez and Nestlé before taking up her position in 1995 as Head of Marketing & Communication at Swiss Post International. Marina Bartetzko-Meyer also gained a wealth of knowhow at the Swiss Training Centre for Marketing, Advertising and Communication (SAWI), the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and at the IMD Institute in Lausanne.

In her free time, Marina Bartetzko-Meyer likes to be adventurous and try out new things. You will often find her on the water or climbing a mountain together with her family.
