Account management and customer service

Managing our customers’ accounts well is extremely important to us here at Asendia UK. It helps us to retain their business and make ours successful. Being as well-known in the printing, fulfilment and mailing sectors isn’t enough - we strive to provide unrivalled service to our customers at all times.

As our sales teams secure new or repeat business, customers are handed over to our implementation team who will manage their set-up system, and then client services who will monitor on-going daily work. One of the things our customers like about us is that we don’t use answer phones, so they can be sure they will always get an answer from us.

Asendia UK is not only part of a global post and logistics organisation, but also a combination of legacy companies that brought their own specialist knowledge to our new combined business, providing us with unrivalled resources.  

Family-run BTB Mailflight in Bedford has 40 years’ experience printing, fulfilling and mailing post and goods across the world before being acquired by La Poste in 2008. MCM Direct in Southampton, also a family-run firm, has managed to retain 250 regular customers during its 20 years’ fulfilling and mailing post and small goods before being acquired by Swiss Post. The further acquisition of American company Pitney Bowes International Mail Service UK added even more prestige to the business.

International reach and cross-border expertise

The launch of La Poste and Swiss Post’s joint venture, Asendia, in the UK in 2012 made us part of Europe’s second largest international postal group. It provides all our customers with enormous international reach to support their enterprises. This has proved a significant selling point for us - our customers know they can trust us to deliver their mail efficiently and cost effectively, while they concentrate on developing their businesses. 

Our customers have the added convenience of international mail being processed through Asendia’s air conveyance unit at Heathrow.

E-commerce

With increasing demand from e-commerce businesses for growing storage space requirements and the processing of higher order volumes, Asendia UK comes into its own. We are working with more and more e-commerce companies today because Asendia’s cross-border local knowledge - thanks to offices in 14 other countries and experience of mailing into 220 countries around the world - and its 63,000 sq ft ISO-accredited goods fulfilment premises in Bedford provides the complete solution for e-commerce traders.

Our Press and Publishing department mails magazines, newspapers and brochures all around the world, with some high profile publishers using our facilities for over 25 years. That’s customer retention.

As a provider of direct mail and business mail printing, fulfilling and posting, we despatch millions of items a month. Consolidating the mail and using our enormous buying power to secure discounts from our providers means that our customers benefit from these savings.
